All current Plantronics Bluetooth headsets fall into one of three categories: headsets that have a single button for call control and power, headsets that have a sliding on/off switch, and headsets that have a on/off button. Pairing your Plantronics bluetooth headset to any device (we're going to assume a 'phone' here) is a three step process.

1. First you need to turn on the Bluetooth feature on your phone. This is generally off by default to conserve battery power. Please see your phone user manual.
2. Then, find your Plantronics headset below for instructions on how to place your headset in pairing mode.
3. When you are asked to enter a passkey, or passphrase, enter 0000 (4 Zeros) except models M1000 and M1500 (see below for their number).
